  • All warranty is void if the unit is opened or modified for any reason
  • All warranty is void if unauthorized power supply is used

  • Due to the nature of the wansim, it is expected that the user understands all aspects of wan simulation, wan emulation, network performance and network testing issues.
    • We do NOT provide any free "howto" support of any kind.

  • The warranty does not apply if you make changes to the system and are unable to undo those user created changes that may cause a problem

  • The Warranty is only valid by providing the original sales order information,
    eg. fedex#, serial number, reseller name/address, etc..

  • The Warranty is NOT transferable to another user, unless you're the "Reseller" and not the end user
    • a Reseller, as defined by possessing a valid gov't issued reseller permit

  • The NetworkNightmare products is warranted for 1yr parts only
    • We will replace an dead system or dead power supply within the first 30 days ..
    • After 30 days, we do NOT anticipate any hardware problems
    • There may be additional labor fees to perform the warranty repairs

  • The Customer ( you ) are responsible for any and all shipping, taxes, VAT, duties to ship the products to and from our facilities for any and all warranty work and for any other reasons
    • Resellers/Integrators are expected to perform the repair work local to your facilities, thusly qualifying as "resellers/integrators"

  • Prior to returning the products, we would like you to request a RMA# from us

    • R M A request @ NetworkNightMare.net

    • There will be some pre-testing we'd require of you to confirm that the hardware is "broken" before we would accept it as a "broken system" under warranty

    • There is a 20% restocking and handling fee for returned items

    • The original costs and warranty costs of shipping/taxes/VAT/duties will also be deducted

    • There may be additional labor fees to perform the warranty repairs depending on the reason for the failure

  • We will NOT honor any warranty due to unpaid and/or pending invoices or disputes


Warranty Information and RMA Requests

  • All sales are final ... we do NOT have a "rental program" either

  • RMA == Return Merchandise Authorization

  • The hardware of gigEnn and NN-Plus, NN-minus is warrantied for 1-year from date of shipping
  • There is NO warranty of any kind for the software per your agreement to the license

  • The Warranty is NOT transferrable from next person to next and so on .. except as an authorized Reseller

  • The wansim must be in our sales database for any honoured warranty, ie it originated from us

  • We would need the following information for any Warranty and RMA
    • Serial number on the bottom of the unit
    • Original purchase date ( your cc transaction# or your PO# or our Invoice# )
    • Whether you bought the unit from NN/gigEnn or from which of our resellers
      • if you bought the wansim from a reseller, you should submit your info to your reseller

    • The exact "ERROR message" that is displayed on the NN/gigEnn ... this is NOT your interpretation of the error message

    • DETAILED description of the problem and exactly what you did to "find the problem"
      • it doesn't work is NOT an acceptable reason for the RMA
      • it didn't do what we're expecting is NOT an acceptable reason for the RMA

      • Details for the RMA to include, but not limited to:
        • net1/net2 ip# and masks used, gateway ip# and masks used
        • hardware ( and machine OS ) used to send the data
        • hardware ( and machine OS ) used to receive the data
        • how is the data generated
        • how are you viewing your expected data
        • any switches additional hubs and switches in the loop

      • These basic and obvious variables are known to affect your network performance

  • The Customer ( you ) are responsible for any and all shipping, taxes, VAT, duties to ship the products to and from our facilities for any and all warranty work and for any other reasons
    • For International shipments, please use $1.oo for customs value
      since we both have already paid all the taxes, duties, import fees the first time it was shipped
